‘PORCELAIN’ ANIMATION
Ars thanea were aproached by TBWA\DAN\Shanghai to produce complete integrated campaign for General Electric China and tell the story of how GE technology transforms the lives of Chinese people.
SOLUTION:
To produce the iconic visual texture of Chinese porcelain in a series of visuals we combined a mixture of traditional and digital art. Ars Thanea was collaborating closely with the agency to ensure the mix of photography and 3D and 2D illustrations integrated seamlessly together. Three ads launched late 2012 in Chinese airports and in print media. The fourth ad is set to launch spring 2013. All film assets for digital were shoot on-location in Warsaw which later on were combined with CGI to bring to life the GE laboratory. All work across digital, image creation and animation were created in-house by Ars Thanea.
