SMILE FOR LONDON

Smile for London is a charity organization, with the unenviable task of making Londoners smile… Anyone who knows this great city we inhabit, knows Londoners are notoriously miserable, especially on their daily commutes. SFL decided to engage some fantastic poets, pairing them with equally interesting animators and artists, transforming a twenty five second poem, into a twenty five second animation. These poems were then screened on video billboards all over the London Underground. What a great idea! We had the pleasure of working on a poem by the hugely charismatic Joshua Idehan, who reads in his own inimitable style. Hats off to Jo Kotas at Smile, for all her fantastic hard work.
